This notice explains how FlexYourMarkers (“FYM”, “we”, “us”) processes personal information when you use an educational, non-clinical platform. FYM is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or risk assessment.

• Account data (e.g., email address, authentication identifiers, basic account status).
• Uploads (lab report files you upload, such as PDFs or images).
• Derived structured data (marker names/values/units and panel records extracted from uploads for display in your account).

• Technical data (limited logs needed to operate and secure the service; e.g., IP address, device/browser signals, timestamps).

3. How We Use Information

We process information to:

• Provide your account and let you access your saved panels.
• Store, process, and display uploads and extracted marker data in an educational format (charts, panel views, and explanations).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot reliability issues.
• Communicate service messages (e.g., account access, critical notices).

4. Automated Processing (Including AI)

FYM may use automated systems to extract and organise information from uploaded documents. These systems may include machine-learning or AI models. Automated extraction can produce errors or omissions. Outputs are provided for educational display and are not clinical results.

5. Legal Bases (UK GDPR / GDPR)

Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to provide the Service you request (account access, storing and displaying your uploads and panels).
• Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability (balanced against your rights).
• Consent — where required for optional features or optional communications.

6. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded lab reports. We may share information with service providers (“processors”) who help us run FYM (for example: hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, email delivery). They are permitted to process data only to provide their services to us.

7. Payments (Paddle as Merchant of Record)

If paid features or supporter purchases are offered, payments are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payment and billing information under its own privacy terms.

8. International Transfers

FYM and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use contractual and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information during transfers.

9. Retention and Deletion

We keep account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward where necessary for security, dispute handling, legal obligations, or system integrity. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting flexyourmarkers@gmail.com.

10. Your Rights

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FYM is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
